Dear Rog arrives at his new home, he looks like he'll be well loved by his new mum but we will miss him sorely.
Roger goes out close to home for some last minute schooling before he heads off to his new home.
Off to Aston le Walls eventer training day since we never got our run in at Stafford due to....................... ...............YES MORE RAIN!

Roger gets back into the swing of parties, he's so happy, he's loving it. He jumps a double clear at Allen's Hill and then again at Weston Lawns over 90 cms, I'm loving it.
Wow, this is summer? Rog gets back into jumping in England, he starts jumping some little things so we can both get back into it together.

I take Rog out to visit the new school at Beny Bocage, it doesn't disappoint at five euros a horse for use of indoor schools and outdoor and a set of showjumps.

Roger accompanies turnip to a dressage competition all the way up at Deauville. It's a in a rather posh arena and since he hasn't been out in a while it rather goes to his haed so he loose a few marks from showing off. Not as good as the last outing, a win at Dol de Breatagne but I'll let him off. this once!
He has a little canter up and down the beach with Stephanie after, as a thank you for her help in coming. We left at five in the moening, not great in November but we couldn't have asked for it to better at the beach, just beautiful!

We radio in a bit of help from the family to try and keep Roger fit for Grassroots after I hurt my leg in a fall. The beach is a good spot because the sand ensure not much riding is required the sand does the work. I can't fir chaps over my tubigrip, knee supports and strappings so a fleecey bandage had to do.

High excitement as we get to compete at Saumur, it's pretty hot down there despite the month and we're stabling overnight but Rog puts up a good show to finish well and in the money!! It pays for eight hours of driving fuel there and back!

Rog wins at GOVEN and LAMBALLE with a third at BRIX in the cycle libre concours complet, enough to qualify for the yong horse championships at Pompadour!

Roger starts his eventing career at a little hunter trials at Brockhampton graduating to the 4yoPAVO class at Firle. I missed a sj and got us eliminated, which made me totally furious as his dressage was very good and he jumped double clear aside from the missed fence.
