Future Ponies

                                                                                                          BLACKJACK'S WILD DICE

Peggle was born in March 2011. She's  a very pretty little madam and moves like a true show pony, as she should given her bloodlines. Her mum is Cotswold River Pearl and unsurprisingly her dad is Blackjack (both shown below). These  two both have hugely successful show ponies in their dam lines.

Unfortunately I couldn't use my prefix on Peggle as the french only use siffixes as the foals are all supposed to have names that begin with a certain letter for each year. I didn't know about all this for Monty so he dipped out on getting a passport which would allow him to enter the concours d'elevage in France. I was determined not to make the same mistake again.

Monty born in 2009 was our trailblazer, our first foal in France and bear the Wychwell prefix. His mum is Cotswold River Pearl

His dad is Denys de la mer, out of a french mare by Demonstrator, both homebred by my mother at Cotswold Manor Stud. He is the apple of my eye and a real terror, I can't wait to start doing things with him.( I think in France I will be able to start his eventing as there is a section for adults to compete ponies.)

                                                                   COTSWOLD RIVER PEARL

Pearl is pregnant here, we hope, in foal to Blackjack.

She is out of a show pony mare by an anglo arab. I broke her when she was three and rode her for a little while, she'd be a little rusty now but she has a great jump and carries weight no problem.

She is a tough little mare and has borne my mum some cracking foals. I have always had a soft spot for her. I hope she breeds us a few more Montys, hopefully in filly format!

                                                                        COTSWOLD BLACKJACK

Jack will be three in 2010, his mother Cotswold Whinny was out of a show hunter pony Water Music by Wild Dice Bewes (BWBS). We think his dad is Cotswold Demo too. The good warmblood breeding shows in him, he moves like a horse and gallops like one. We hope he doesn't outgrow pony dimensions as he will make a full up 14.2hh; a pony I would have given anything for as a kid.
